Glass Radiometers

These beautiful hand-blown glass radiometers illustrate a simple principle of physics - that light can be transformed into kinetic energy which results in movement. The carefully balanced vanes inside the glass are black on one side and silver on the other. The black side absorbs light faster than the silver, causing the vane to spin. Even if you're not interested in the science aspect of radiometers, they are beautiful hanging in a window. Sold individually, they can be hung together to form a chain. Select from clear or blue.
